One of the cool things about living in a Dark Sky sanctuary is the ability to take great photos of the stars.
A friend who is an astro photographer came over one night and got this photo of the milky way about our place – isn’t it wonderful.
And even with a basic iPhone you can get some good photos – the first one is the Southern Cross with just an iPhone 11, the second one is the Blood Moon in early 2025 taken with an iPhone 11 and our telescope.
